How can the Theology of the Body get us there?
Guest speaker: Tamara Cesare in association with FRP
“We cannot understand the church’s [moral] teachings unless we have a total vision of man.” (Blessed Pope Paul VI) An adequate anthropology, a total vision of what the human being is … not only his earthly vocation, but his heavenly vocation as well.
Guided by the Holy Spirit, Saint Pope John Paul II was inspired to provide for all mankind (and at this particular time in history) the total vision of what it means to be human. This landmark catechesis is commonly known as ‘The Theology of the Body’ and was the significant focus of his entire pontificate.

About our speaker:
Mrs. Tamara Cesare has been involved in the pro-life movement since she was a child. Her mother, Theo Stearns, is a co-founder of Catholics United for Life and coined the term Sidewalk Counseling; Tamara was on the street as a sidewalk counseler by the time she was 14 years old. As a teenager, Tamara traveled to over 30 states teaching Sidewalk Counseling and promoting Chastity through the Angelic Warfare Confraternity. She married Mark, another dedicated pro-life advocate. After two difficult pregnancies and an encounter with Saint Mother Teresa, Mark and Tamara left public speaking for 25 years to raise a family of eight children. Tamara returned to a more public roll in CUL as president in 2013. As part of her ongoing formation, she most recently attended a 30-hour intensive Theology of the Body immersion course on the complete vision for humanity.
